Prevention, informed evaluation, and practical recommendations.
Security is not a product you buy once. It is a practice — shaped by a property, its people, and how they move through it every day.
Our work is rooted in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design — a proven approach that focuses on how the built environment can influence safety, reduce opportunities for crime, and support stronger security outcomes. These principles have long been applied to multifamily properties, commercial environments, and broader site planning, and they remain central to our approach.
What distinguishes Shield Point Solutions is our ability to apply these concepts across different property types, including both multifamily communities and schools. While each environment presents its own unique challenges, both benefit from thoughtful, prevention-based assessments that evaluate how a property functions, where vulnerabilities exist, and what practical improvements can be made.
We do not believe in one-size-fits-all solutions or generic security language. We believe in a straightforward, tailored approach that reflects the realities of each property and provides meaningful guidance clients can actually use.

“Effective security starts with prevention, informed evaluation, and practical recommendations tailored to each property.”
Jonathan founded Shield Point Solutions out of a belief that safety and security should be approached proactively, not reactively. Through his law enforcement experience, he has seen firsthand the value of prevention, thoughtful site design, and practical security planning. He started the company to help clients strengthen their properties through CPTED-based assessments and with the long-term goal of promoting wider awareness and application of CPTED principles in schools, multifamily communities, and other properties nationwide.
